Ladies and gentlemen hold onto your fishing rods because The Billfish Foundation is proud to announce a new achievement that will be awarded at next year’s 2024 Annual Tag & Release Awards Ceremony!

Starting in 2025, TBF will be honoring any captain or angler who reaches the mind-blowing threshold of 10,000 reported tagged and/or released billfish to TBF. The 10 Grander Club, aka “The Billie Club”, was originally thought to be an impossible mark, but we should have understood the passion and determination the angling community has for billfish conservation. Anyone who has reached this milestone has truly gone above and beyond in their conservation efforts, helping to provide huge amounts of data related to billfish and billfish angling. The sheer will and drive to achieve such an accomplishment is something that we believe should be recognized! So we’re going to!
