Following the overwhelming success of our Virtual Gala in 2020, we knew that we couldn’t return to a solely in-person event in 2021. That’s why we are so excited to announce our first ever Holiday Fundraising Event! For two weeks, you’ll have the chance to win incredible prizes while supporting billfish conservation from the comfort of your own home. We hope you’re excited for this brand new event, it’s going to be one for the books!
The event will kick off on Monday, November 15th with the opening of our Virtual Holiday Auction. For one week, you’ll have the opportunity to bid on dozens of incredible items, including Garmin electronics, YETI gear, Costa sunglasses, beautiful jewelry, and incredible trips! The auction will close on Friday, November 19th at 10pm EST, so make sure you get your bids in before then. All of this takes place on our virtual auction website – charityauction.bid/TBF2021. Be sure to register (it’s free!) and get your bidding number now so that you’re ready once the auction opens!
Just because the auction ends doesn’t mean the fun has to! On Monday, November 22nd, our virtual raffle opens. The rules are simple:
- From November 22 – 29, a special code will be available for our online store. You must enter this code, TBFHoliday10, at checkout for your purchase to count towards the raffle. Plus, the code will give you 10% off your entire order!
- For every $20 spent on shop.billfish.org when using the TBFHoliday10 code, you will receive one entry into the raffle.
- BONUS: You’ll receive one extra raffle entry when you buy one of our limited edition 35th Anniversary YETI Ramblers.
Three winners will be randomly selected, which means the more entries you have, the better your chance to win! The third-place winner will receive a code for a free pair of Costa Sunglasses of their choosing (not including prescription lenses). The second winner will receive a Costa Sunglasses code as well as a YETI Crossroads 23 backpack. Finally, the Grand Prize winner will receive a Costa Sunglasses code and YETI Tundra Haul!
